COVID-19 vaccination for the age group 12-14 years was started on 16 March, 2022. So far, more than 3.58 Cr (3,58,99,199) adolescents have been administered with the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine. Introduction: Post third surge in January 2022, SARS-CoV-2 disease (COVID-19) has entered a new phase in the country. A sustained low incidence level of mild clinical severity and very low rates of hospitalization due to various factors such as enhanced surveillance, focus on case management and high vaccination coverage has supported country’s COVID-19 management efforts.
