The National Institution for Transforming India (NITI) Aayog has published its annual Performance of Health Outcomes Index for the year 2017-18. The report seeks to capture annual performance of states and union territories on several indicators, such as outcomes, governance, and processes. The preparation of the report took 18 months and was done in collaboration with the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and with technical assistance from the World Bank.
