The 2015-16 National Family Health Survey (NFHS-4), the fourth in the NFHS series, provides information on population, health, and nutrition for India and each State and Union Territory. The 666-page NFHS-4 comprises 16 chapters, which present information and data on Household Population and Housing Characteristics, Fertility and Fertility Preferences, Child Health, Nutrition and Anemia, Morbidity and Healthcare, Women's Empowerment and Domestic Violence, among others. The field work for the NHFS-4 was conducted from January 2015 to December 2016. A total of 6,01,509 households were interviewed. The full text of the document can be accessed here.
