Umair Gul , a Doctoral research scholar from Kashmir, has submitted his thesis from the Nelson Mandela Centre for Peace and Conflict Resolution, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. He has researched on Religion and Armed Conflict in India and has profiled at least six armed groups who operate in Kashmir, Punjab, and Nagaland. He has contributed research articles on armed conflict in Kashmir and Punjab. He has blogged for the London School of Economics, Daily O and Greater Kashmir among many others.
