Participants at a round-table on the Telangana conundrum have more or less ruled out accepting Hyderabad as Union Territory on the lines of Chandigarh or making it a joint capital for Telangana and Andhra on a permanent basis.
The round table, organised by The Hindu Centre for Politics and Public Policy on ‘Dealing with the Costs of Division: A dialogue towards Reconciliation’ here on Saturday, sought to know the opinions of a cross-section of society on the road ahead with the Centre making it clear that it wants to divide the state.
